Provided Bulk Operation

The bulk operation "Create Confluence Page" is disabled in Jira 8!

To use the bulk operation provided by the Issue Publisher, do the following:

  1. In the issue navigator (e.g., in the search results dialog) you can use bulk operations by selecting all <number> issue(s) from the "Tools" menu in the top right corner.

    A list of the pre-selected issues is displayed.
  2. Select the issues you want to change by bulk operation, then click Next.
    The "Choose Operation" dialog is displayed.
  3. Select Create Confluence Page provided by catworkx Issue Publisher, then click Next.

  4. In the "Operation Details" dialog, enter the following information:
    • Application Link: Select the application link of your Confluence application.
    • Template: Select the template for multi issues to be used.
    • Main Issue: Enter the key of the main issue. This is used for page header and footer. All selected issues in the filter (step 1) are used for the template body.
    • Get Parent Page From: Select the custom field where the parent page ID is saved at the current release issue.
    • Create Link: Select if a link to the new page should be created.
    • Save Page ID: Select the custom field where to save the ID of the created page (optional).
    Then click Next.
    The "Confirmation" dialog is displayed.
  5. In the "Confirmation" dialog, click Confirm.
    The pages will be created.
  6. Click Acknowledge.
