Install the Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence

To use the Update field values on page or Update issue panels on page functionality either in an operation or a post-function , you also have to install the Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence on your Confluence server. This app is provided for free and can be downloaded from the Downloads section.

Install App

To install Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence on your Confluence server using the Universal Plugin Manager (UPM), do the following:

  1. Log into the Confluence server as administrator.
  2. From the Administration menu, select Manage apps.
    By default, you should see "Manage apps" dialog in the right frame.
  3. Select Upload app.
  4. Browse for the JAR file and select it.
  5. In the "Upload app" dialog, select Upload.
  6. In the confirmation dialog, select Close.

    Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence should be listed in the list "User-installed apps".

Uninstall App

To uninstall Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence, do the following on the Confluence server:

  1. Log into the Confluence server as administrator.
  2. From the Administration menu, select Manage apps.
    By default the user-installed apps are listed in the right frame. The Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence app should be listed.
  3. From the app list, select Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence.
  4. To uninstall the Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence app, select Uninstall.
  5. To confirm, click Uninstall app in the confirmation dialog.
  6. The app is removed and a confirmation should appear on the "User-installed apps" list.
  7. If you click the Reload button in your Web browser, the Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence app should be removed from the list of "User-installed apps".

To disable Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence, do the following on the Confluence server:

  1. Log into the Confluence server as administrator.
  2. From the Administration menu, select Manage apps.
    By default the user-installed apps are listed in the right frame. The Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence app should be listed.
  3. From the app list, select Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence.
  4. To disable the Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence app, click Disable.
  5. To indicate that the app is disabled, the font of the Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence entry in app list changed from black to gray.
    An "Enable" button should appear.

Enable App

To enable a disabled Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence app, do the following on the Confluence server:

  1. Log into the Confluence server as administrator.
  2. From the Administration menu, select Manage apps.
    By default the user-installed apps are listed in the right frame. The Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence app should be listed.
  3. From the app list, select Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence.
  4. To enable the Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence app, click Enable.
  5. To indicate that the app is enabled, the font of the Teamworkx Issue Publisher Macros for Confluence entry in app list changed from gray to black.
    An "Disable" button should appear.
