Configure the Project Template

The project template is copied by the [cwx-ppm] Copy Project Function post-function when creating a new project to be managed by catworkx Project Portfolio Management for Jira.

To configure the project template, you have to do the following:

  1. (Recommended) Create a new project category for your template projects.

  2. Create a new template project and configure it as you need. Assign it to the project template category. 

    All schemes (permission, notification, issue security and priority) are copied during the cloning process.

    The user executing the workflow transition to clone the project needs to have the "Browse Projects" permission for the template project!

  3. Create and assign schemes to the template project based on your needs.
