To install the Thunderbird Integration for JIRAJira add-on, do the following:

1. Start Mozilla Thunderbird.
2. Select Tools > Add-ons.
   The "Add-ons Manager" tab is displayed.

   1. Either, if you downloaded the file manually, from the cog menu at the top. select Install Add-on From File.
      
      Browse to the createjiraissuecreateJiraissue.xpi file and select it.
   2. Or, if you searched Mozilla's Add-Ons site by simply searching for e.g. JIRA Jira in the Box "Search for all add-ons".
   3. Or, simply drag and drop the attachment from the page Thunderbird Integration for Jira into your add-ons list in Thunderbird.
4. The "Software Installation" dialog is displayed.
   
5. In the "Software Installation" dialog, select Install Now.
   After the installation, "Thunderbird Integration for JIRAJira" is displayed at the top of the list of add-ons in the "Add-on Manager".
   
6. Click Restart Now.
