You have to specify the type of connection protocol with the URL (http or https). Otherwise the connection will fail. Futhermore we recommend to use a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) instead of hostnames only. |

Once the connection between your Microsoft Outlook and your JIRA server is working, you can do some further configurations. From the Microsoft Outlook menu, select JIRA > Advanced Configuration. The following dialog appears.
The Advanced Configuration dialog provides the following tabs:

Select Add-ons from the "Hamburger Menu". (Or Press F10, then choose Tools - > Add-ons)
Select Add-ons again:
The "Add-ons Manager" tab is displayed.

Make sure to uninstall the Add-on, restart Thunderbird and close the Add-ons tab prior to reinstalling a new version of the add-on. It seems that some Javascript cache is not properly cleared otherwise |
The Thunderbird Integration for Jira preferences Tab is displayed.
