Configure Add-On

In the add-on configuration, you can select projects and/or issue types you want to hide the "Summary" field in the "Create Issue" dialog.

To configure the catworkx Auto-Summary add-on, do the following on the Jira server:

1. Log into the Jira server as administrator.
2. From the Administration menu, select Add-ons.
   In the left side bar there should be a section "Auto-Summary" that has the following link: "Auto-Summary Settings".
   
3. Click Auto-Summary Settings.
    The "Auto-Summary Settings" dialog is displayed.
   
4. To select projects or issue types for which the summary field should be hidden, do the following:
   1. In the "Projects" textbox, enter the project keys you want to hide the summary field for. Use comma to separate project keys. Use asterisk ("*") for all projects.
   2. In the "Issue Types" textbox, enter the issue types you want to hide the summary field for. Use comma to separate issue types. Use asterisk ("*") for all issue types.
   3. Click Add.
      Your settings are listed at the top of the dialog.
      
5. To remove a configuration for hidden summary fields, click Remove at the right of the corresponding list entry.
