Create Version Issue Type

catworkx recommends to create a new issue type for versions. But this is not mandatory.

To create an issue type for a version, do the following in the system administration:

  1. In the JIRA administration, select Issues > Issue Types.
  2. To create a new issue type, click Add Issue Type in the top right corner.
    The "Add Issue Type" dialog appears.
  3. Enter a name (e.g., Version) and make sure that Standard Issue Type is selected. Then click Add.
