The following post-functions are provided by catworkx Extended Group Management:

[cwx] Add Users to Supergroup Function

This post-function can be used to create a group hierarchy. If group name matches a string pattern, also add its users to the another group.

Required information:

Group Name Field: Select the field that contains the group name to check.
Group Name Pattern: Enter the string pattern which the group name must contain.
Group: Select the group to which users will be added if the pattern matches.

Field to function parameter mapping:

[cwx] Aggregate Group Members To Multi User Picker Field Function

This post-function aggregates the group members of a selected Jira group into a selected multi user picker custom field.

Required information:

Groupselector: Select the single group picker custom field that contains the Jira group which users you aggregate into the multi user picker custom field specified in "Groupmembers".
Groupmembers: Select the multi user picker custom field that contains the users you want to be aggegated.

Field to function parameter mapping:

This post-function can be used to create a group hierarchy. This post-function aggregates all users from linked sub-group issues.

Make sure that this post-function is executed:

Required information:

Issue link type: Select the link that references the subgroups to be aggregated.
Group members field: Select the field that contains the group members.
Status filter: If set, only issues in one of the selected status values are considered for aggregation.

Field to function parameter mapping:

This post-function removes all inactive users from a user field.

Required information:

Users Field: Select the user picker that should be cleaned up.
Protocol Field: Select the multi-line text field where the cleanup protocol should be saved.

Field to function parameter mapping:

This post-function creates a new group in Jira and adds users from a multi-user field.

Required information:

Name Field: Select the custom field that stores the group name.
Users Field: Select the multi user picker custom field that contains the users you want to add to the group.
Group Field: Select the group picker custom field that contains the new group.

Field to function parameter mapping:

This post-function creates or updates a group in different Atlassian applications.

Required information:

Application Links: Select the application links to create groups in.
Application Link Field: Select the CWX Application Link Picker Field (provided by Application Link Picker for Jira from catworkx) to an Atlassian application you want to use.
Specify either "Application Links" or the "Application Link Field".
Name Field: Select the custom field that stores the group name.
Users Field: Select the multi user picker custom field that contains the users you want to add to the group.
Group Field: Select the group picker custom field that contains the new group.
Run as User: (Optional) Select the user you want to use to access the Atlassian application.
Run in background jobs: Select to start a background job to update each application.
Create comments when jobs finish: Select to write issue comments whenever a background job finishes.
Create comments on job error: Select to write issue comments whenever a background job fails.

This post-function sets the members of a multi user picker field to a Jira group.

Required information:

Groupselector: Select the single group picker custom field that contains the Jira group which users you want to be set.
Groupmembers: Select the multi user picker custom field that contains the users you want to set to the group specified in "Groupselector".

This post-function sets a issue summary from a Jira group name.

Required information:

Groupselector: Select the single group picker custom field that contains the Jira group which name is used for the group issue summary.
