Use Configuration Wizard

To configure the basic settings for JIRA in OTRS, a configuration wizard is available. Do the following as OTRS administrator:

1. In the OTRS dashboard, select the Admin tab.
2. In the Admin tab, select JIRA in the "System Administration" section.
   
   The "JIRA core settings (1)" dialog of the configuration wizard is displayed.
   

3. In the "JIRA core settings (1)" dialog, you configure the basic connection settings.

   The user you enter in the "User" textbox has to be created on the JIRA server.

   The user you enter in the "Incoming User" textbox has to be created on the OTRS server.

   Click Next to continue.
   The "Issue settings (2)" dialog is displayed.
   

4. In the "Issue settings (2)" dialog, you can configure the settings for the JIRA issues to be created
   
5. The following options are identical to the option in the Create Issue Dialog configuration configuration:
   1. Show Assignee (dialog)
   2. Show "Automatic" user (dialog)
   3. Show IssueType (dialog)Show IssueType (dialog)
