Install App

To install the Jira app of catworkx Project Metadata using the Universal Plugin Manager (UPM), do the following:

1. Log into the Jira server as administrator.
2. From the Administration menu, select Manage apps.
3. By default, you should see Atlassian Marketplace for Jira dialog in the right frame. Select Manage apps in the sidebar on the left.
4. Select Upload app.
5. Browse for the JAR/OBR file and select it.
6. In the "Upload app" dialog, select Upload.
7. In the confirmation dialog, select Close.
   
8. If you click the Reload button in your Web browser, you should see a section "Project Metadata" in the sidebar on the left that contains a link "Permissions Settings".
   

Uninstall App

To uninstall the catworkx Project Metadata app, do the following on the Jira server:

1. Log into the Jira server as administrator.
2. From the Administration menu, select Manage apps.
3. In the left sidebar, select Manage apps.
4. By default the user-installed apps are listed in the right frame. The catworkx Project Metadata app should be listed.
5. From the app list, select catworkx Project Metadata.
6. To uninstall the catworkx Project Metadata app, select Uninstall.
7. To confirm, click Uninstall app in the confirmation dialog.
8. The app is removed and a confirmation should appear on the "User-installed apps" list.
9. If you click the Reload button in your Web browser, the catworkx Project Metadata app should be removed from the list of "User-installed apps".

Disable/Enable App

To disable the catworkx Project Metadata app, do the following on the Jira server:

1. Log into the Jira server as administrator.
2. From the Administration menu, select Manage apps.
3. In the left sidebar, select Manage apps.
4. By default the user-installed apps are listed in the right frame. The catworkx Project Metadata app should be listed.
5. From the app list, select catworkx Project Metadata.
6. To disable the catworkx Project Metadata app, click Disable.
7. To indicate that the app is disabled, the font of the catworkx Project Metadata entry in app list changed from black to gray.
   An "Enable" button should appear.

To enable a disabled catworkx Project Metadata app, do the following on the Jira server:

1. Log into the Jira server as administrator.
2. From the Administration menu, select Manage apps.
3. In the left sidebar, select Manage apps.
4. By default the user-installed apps are listed in the right frame. The catworkx Project Metadata app should be listed.
5. From the app list, select catworkx Project Metadata.
6. To enable the catworkx Project Metadata app, click Enable.
7. To indicate that the app is enabled, the font of the catworkx Project Metadata entry in app list changed from gray to black.
   An "Disable" button should appear.
