Provided New Custom Field Types - v7.1.4.1
The following custom field type is provided by catWorkX Issue Picker for JIRA:
[cwx] Linking Issue Picker
Creates a link to another issue and copies the values of a selected set of custom fields from the linked issue. The copied values are stored in the corresponding custom fields so there is no need for a field mapping. Select the issue you want to link.
Before you can use the "[cwx] Linking Issue Picker", you have to configure the custom field first.
For this custom field type there is a configuration dialog available to configure the menu items. In the custom field type configuration, you have to configure the following:
- Display Attribute: Select the issue attribute that should be displayed in the custom field's pull-down menu.
- Also display the issue key: Select this option to display not only the attribute selected above but also the issue key.
- Link type: Select the link type for the created link. Select None to deactivate linking.
- Link direction: Select outward for outward links. By default inward links are created.
- JQL: Enter a JQL query to limit the scope of the provided issues in the custom field's pull-down menu.
- Fields to copy: Select the custom fields you want to copy from the linked issue.
[cwx] Linking Multiple Issue Picker
Creates links to other issues. Select the issues you want to link.
Before you can use the "[cwx] Linking Issue Picker", you have to configure the custom field first.
- Display Attribute: Select the issue attribute that should be displayed in the custom field's pull-down menu.
- Also display the issue key: Select this option to display not only the attribute selected above but also the issue key.
- Link Type: Select the link type for the created link. Select None to deactivate linking.
- Link direction: Select outward for outward links. By default inward links are created.
- JQL: Enter a JQL query to limit the scope of the provided issues in the custom field's multi-select field.
[cwx] Single Issue Picker
A picker for single issues. It copies the values of a set of custom fields from the selected issue. The copied values are stored in the corresponding custom fields so there is no need for a field mapping.
Before you can use the "[cwx] Single Issue Picker", you have to configure the custom field first.

- Link direction: Select outward for outward links. By default inward links are created.
- JQL: Enter a JQL query to limit the scope of the provided issues in the custom field's multi-select field.
- Fields to display: Select the custom fields you want to have displayed for each issue (in a table).
- Fields to sum up: Select the custom fields you want sum up. The sum value for all issues is displayed below the table.
In view mode, the "[cwx] Multiple Issue Picker" field displays the picked issues as links in the details section.
If you click the arrow icon in front of the picked issues, a table is displayed.
[cwx] Issue Table
This custom field is only displayed in the view issue dialog. It displays all results of a JQL query and displays a table of specified fields for each matching issue.
For this custom field type there is a configuration dialog available to configure the menu items. In the custom field type configuration, you have to configure the following:
- Display attribute: Select the issue attribute that should be displayed in the custom field's pull-down menu.
- Also display the issue key: Select this option to display not only the attribute selected above but also the issue key.
- JQL: Enter a JQL query to determine the issues to display in the table.
- Fields to display: Select the custom fields you want to have displayed for each issue (in a table).
- Fields to sum up: Select the custom fields you want sum up. The sum value for all issues is displayed below the table.
In view mode, the "[cwx] Issue Table" field displays all issues of the configured JQL query as links.
If you click the arrow icon in front of the picked issues, a table is displayed.
If you click the magnifier icon, the search results of the table's JQL query is displayed.
