The catWorkX Version Management for JIRA add-on provides the following validators:

[cwx] Version Management: Date Compare Validator

Checks whether the start date is earlier than the release date.

Required information:

• Startdate: Date picker field that contains the start date. Select None if you do not use start and release dates.
  
• Releasedate: Date picker field that contains the release date (has to be later than the Startdate). Select None if you do not use start and release dates.

[cwx] Version Management: Version Name Validator

Checks whether there exists already a version with the given name.

Required information:

• Name of Version: Field that contains the version's name.
