Provided Validators
The catworkx Version Management for Jira app provides the following validators:
[cwx] Version Management: Date Compare Validator
Checks whether the start date is earlier than the release date.
Required information:
- Startdate: Date picker field that contains the start date. Select None if you do not use start and release dates.
- Releasedate: Date picker field that contains the release date (has to be later than the
Startdate). Select None if you do not use start and release dates.
Field to parameter mapping:
[cwx] Version Management: SubSequent Release Date Validator
Checks if the release date is before the release date of the subsequent version.
Required information:
- Releasedate: Date picker field that contains the release date (has to be later than the release date of the succeeding version). Select None if you do not use start and release dates.
Field to parameter mapping:
[cwx] Version Management: Version Name Validator
Checks whether there exists already a version with the given name.
Required information:
- Name of Version: Field that contains the version's name.
