Provided Post-Functions
The following post-functions are provided by catworkx Jira LDAP Customfield Mapper:
[cwx] Addressbook Search Postfunction
Searches the LDAP address book. All LDAP attributes configured in the attribute mapping are compared with the value of a custom field.
Required information:
- Search source: Select the custom field which value should be used as search term.
- Attibute Mapping: Here LDAP attributes are mapped to JIRA customfields. This mapping is separated from the general settings to give the possibility to use it in a parallel manner. Enter the LDAP attribute you want to map into the "Attribute" textfield, then select a customfield from the "Custom Field" menu. Click Add.
- Auto create options: Select to create missing JIRA customfield options automatically if missing.
- Take first entry: Select if the first entry of attribute, e.g.
memberOf
attribute.
Field to function parameter mapping:
[cwx] Exact Matching LDAP Search
Searches the LDAP address book. Only one specified LDAP attribute is compared with the value of a custom field.
Required information:
- Search Attibute: Enter the name of the LDAP attribute that should match the value of the custom field defined in "Search source".
- Search source: Select the custom field which value should be used as search term.
- Attibute Mapping: Here LDAP attributes are mapped to JIRA customfields. This mapping is separated from the general settings to give the possibility to use it in a parallel manner. Enter the LDAP attribute you want to map into the "Attribute" textfield, then select a customfield from the "Custom Field" menu. Click Add.
- Auto create options: Select to create missing JIRA customfield options automatically if missing.
