Standard configuration

Since the menu item in the project configuration page is usually accessible for all those who are in the project role "Project administrators" respectively have the permission to administer a certain project:

Motivation

This may lead to unwanted publishing of the project configuration into the systems Confluence thus leading to system load in Confluence or unnecessary versions of the published page(s) in Confluence.

Solution

To solve this a configuration page was implemented to allow the admin to add one or multiple groups to limit the visibility of the export menu item in project configuration page.

Configure allowed groups

In the form simply fill in the allowed groups, that are supposed to have access to the feature in the project configuration page.

Upon saving you will get a simple message box in the top right corner.

To allow everyone, simply clear the field and save it "empty".
