Configure Issue Picker Custom Field

Before you can use the "[cwx] Issue Picker CustomField", you have to configure the custom field first. Do the following:

1. From the "Administration" menu, select Issues.
   All available issue types are listed.
2. From the sidebar, select Custom fields.
   All available custom fields are listed.
3. From the list of custom fields search for your issue picker custom field.
4. From the cog menu of your single issue picker custom field select Configure.
5. In the "Default Configuration Scheme for <CF_name>" section, select Edit Configuration next to "Configuration".
   

6. A "Configuration" dialog appears.
   
   The dialog has the following tabs:

   • Issue Selection
   • Display Attributes
   • Actions on Save
   • Create new Issue
   • Reindex Job

7. Click Save.

   
   

8. If you want to configure the searcher, go back to step 3 to find your custom field and select Edit from the menu (instead of Configure).
9. You can choose between the "Issue Picker Searcher" and the "Issue Picker Exact Searcher (natural)". The default searcher supports searching for text with the "~" operator. The exact searcher supports searching for exact texts with the "=" operator. After changing the searcher, you have to reindex all issues that use the Issue Picker field.
