Configure Field Default Values

In this section, you configure default values.

At the top of this section a message displays, for which fields you have to specify default values.

To add a default value, you have to do the following:

1. Select Add default field value.
   The "Add Default Value" dialog appears.
   
2. In the "Add Default Value" dialog, do the following
   
   1. OTRS Field Name:Select the OTRS field name.
   2. Default Value: Enter the default value. The value that will be used to initialize the OTRS field if no other value is provided.

   Click Save.
   The new default value is displayed in the list.
   

   The article field IsVisibleForCustomer is used only since OTRS 6. Possible values are 1 for yes and 0 for no.

   The article fields ArticleType is used only up to OTRS 5. Possible values are for example note-external or note-internal.

To edit a default value, select Edit at the right of the field entry.

To delete a default value, select Delete at the right of the field entry.
